Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping race to the Moon and beyond with our game masters from SpaceJump!

In this electrifying Mario Kart session, you and your team will embark on a thrilling journey to stake your claim on the dark side of the moon. Prepare to zoom across rugged terrain, dodging pesky craters as you strive for victory. But beware, the Mad Moon lurks in the shadows, ready to challenge even the most skilled racers!

Guided by experienced game masters from SpaceJump, participants will learn valuable strategy, teamwork and adaptability lessons as they tackle in-game challenges. Combining the excitement of Mario Kart with the exhilaration of a lunar adventure, this program promises non-stop thrills and excitement.

During this drop and leave program, participants will:

  • Work collaboratively to brainstorm, create, and build racetracks inspired by the lunar landscape
  • Get creative with arts and crafts to decorate their lunar racetracks
  • Race augmented reality karts using a Nintendo Switch

So, rev up your engines, buckle on your anti-gravity belt, and get ready to race to the dark side of the Moon in this high-octane gaming adventure!

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
