This Mario Kart adventure invites gamers on a journey deep into the heart of the outback. Participants find themselves racing through rugged terrain and winding trails inspired by the Australian Outback.
Players will not only compete in high-speed Mario Kart races, they will face unique challenges navigating through the bush and driving across creek beds while encountering amazing plants and animals on the way.
Guided by the experienced game masters from Space Jump, participants learn the importance of strategy, teamwork, and adaptability as they tackle various in-game challenges. The program combines the excitement of Mario Kart with the thrill of an outdoor adventure.
Get ready to rev up your engines and race your way through the bush in this high-octane gaming adventure!
During this drop-and-leave program, participants will:
- Work in teams to brainstorm, create and build racetracks inspired by the Australian bush/outback
- Get creative with arts and crafts to decorate their outback racetracks
- Race augmented reality karts using a Nintendo Switch.

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
