Two special experiences linked to our current Artist in Residence program: Reclaim the Void weaving workshops with Rachel McKenzie and Lucy Ridsdale and Weaving with Words with Rachel Robertson.
Reclaim the Void workshop: Learn a simple weaving technique and contribute to the creation which will form part of giant artwork telling the story of country by Ngalia custodians of the northern Goldfields.
Weaving with Words workshop: Weave your own words into the Reclaim the Void project. Contribute a word, sentence, poem, or personal story through talking to Rachel.
All welcome, prompts and materials provided, no experience necessary. Drop in or stay for the whole workshop.
Tuesday 21 & Thursday 23 February: 2pm to 4pm
Wednesday 22 February: Weaving with Words – Drop in anytime between 10am and 12.30pm or stay for all
Saturday 25 February: 10am to 12.30pm
Sunday 26 February: 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm
