Enter our writing competition and mark Albany’s bicentenary by telling a story of place through words.
Writers of all levels are welcome to submit work in any genre, including poetry, prose, memoir, articles, or experimental forms reflecting on Albany's past, present, and future through a short piece of writing.
Your piece may explore personal memories, significant events, changing landscapes, or reflections on contemporary Albany. You might also consider Albany’s future and the legacy this place holds for generations to come.
This competition is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and contribute your voice to Albany’s ongoing story — then and now.
