Unleash your imagination and experiment with a myriad of sounds using GarageBand to tell a story.

Armed with recording devices, participants capture the intricate symphony of everyday sounds - the rustle of leaves, the echo of footsteps, the whispers of ancient artifacts, and even the sound of the air conditioning! Back in the creative hub, armed with GarageBand and expertly guided by local musician Felicity Groom, young sound adventurers will blend their sounds to compile an ambient musical masterpiece to tell a story.

This program not only nurtures creativity but also hones technical skills and an appreciation for the art of storytelling and sound design.

Join us in this unique adventure and tune your ear to explore another side of the Museum.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle and your lunch.

Drop and leave programs

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
