In this Minecraft experience, young gamers embark on an out-of-this-world journey to the Moon. Look out for the space junk!

Explore the lunar landscape, and mine for new resources as you navigate your way past the mean, treacherous craters. Will you defy the absence of gravity and make it to base camp?

Come and spend the day exploring, creating and navigating your way through the basics with our Minecraft gurus on hand to help you

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Need to be reasonably proficient at using basic keyboard functions.
  • Explore the To the Moon exhibition and take inspiration.
  • Create a lunar landscape in a Minecraft world.
  • Share their creation with others in the group before taking home on their USB.

It’s going to be a full day of fun! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and your lunch.

Please note that participants will be playing Minecraft on a PC, not a gaming console. Participants will need to have a basic knowledge of using computer keyboards and mouse.

*Please note that all technical equipment required will be provided, however, please bring along a 4GB USB for download to take home.
