Create your own stop-motion animation inspired by Alice's famous adventure down the rabbit hole.

In this stop motion animation workshop, prepare to be inspired by Alice's descent into Wonderland as she journeyed through the rabbit hole — where will yours take you?

Before getting down to business we’ll head to the Wonderland Exhibition for inspiration and begin a storyboarding session. Then it’s back to Woodside Learning Studios to pick out your props, manipulate them, and start filming to create your masterpiece. Finally, we'll delve into audio to add sound, bringing your creation to life. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to plan, direct and create your own short animation!

At the end of the day, we’ll kick back, turn off the lights and admire the creative work produced on the big screen.

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Visit the Wonderland Exhibition for creative inspiration;
  • Use Hue software to produce your animation;
  • Share your finished product with the group before taking it home.

It’s going to be a full day of fun! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and your lunch.

*Please note that all technical equipment required will be provided, however, please bring along a 4GB USB for download.
