All entry points have universal access. Six public lifts are available.

Epoch café is open daily. It is located on the ground level, facing Beaufort Street. Food and drink are not allowed inside exhibitions.

Gender neutral, female, male and universal access toilets are located on each level.
Baby changing facilities are available in each universal access restroom. Lounge seating is available outside all exhibitions.

The Western Australian Museum strives to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all patrons, contractors, volunteers, and staff. Museum staff reserve the right to refuse entry and/or request the person(s) to leave who exhibit abusive, disruptive, or offensive behaviour and/or language.
Photography & filming
Photography and filming are allowed unless otherwise stated. Flash photography is not permitted. Photography and filming for commercial purposes must have written approval from the Museum.

Public transport services
WA Museum Boola Bardip can be reached by train and bus. Visit Transperth’s website to plan your journey.
Perth Train Station is a short 200m walk from the Museum through the Perth Cultural Centre. It is serviced by Armadale, Fremantle, Joondalup, Mandurah and Midland lines as well as Transwa's Australind service.
Inbound bus services to the Museum arrive at Beaufort Street Stop 26623. Inbound bus routes include 41, 42, 48, 55, 60, 66, 67, 68, and 950.
Outbound bus services from the Museum depart from Beaufort Street Stops 12132 and 12131. Outbound bus routes include 41, 42, 48, 55, 60, 66, 67, 68, and 950. You can also use the Blue Cat Museum stop.
