Smiling, reflective and proud, the faces of 84 Mid West residents have joined a Statewide project launched by the Western Australian Museum to celebrate diversity.

This week, communities in the Kimberley will meet members of the WA Museum’s New Museum Project team and participate in discussions about the New Museum for WA.

To mark the Centenary of World War I and the significant impact it had on Goldfields communities, the Western Australian Museum – Kalgoorlie-Boulder launched its very poignant Faces From the Front exhibition last Friday.

More than 100,000 people have visited the Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous exhibition at the Western Australian Museum, with the Wallbank family from Subiaco marking this milestone when they arrived at the Museum this morning.
