The Museum is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm.

Bookings
Book a ticket online or by calling 1300 134 081. This is recommended if you wish to visit on a particular day.
Walk-up entry is available each day — no booking required! However, you may experience a wait time during busy periods such as weekends.

Enhance your experience and access extra content with the Gogo Digital Guide.
The Gogo uses location awareness to locate and guide you around the Museum to discover more, accessing extra content and highlighting the many stories of WA.

WA Museum Boola Bardip’s digital public art program features three new Aboriginal digital artworks and artists showing on the Hackett Hall and Francis Street façades at WA Museum Boola Bardip throughout 2024.

Reconstructing the Antikythera Mechanism

Steeped in mystery since its discovery over 120 years ago, the Antikythera Mechanism has inspired people around the world to construct models, with varying degrees of accuracy, in order to understand its precision mechanics.

Family Tour: WA Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs of all sizes once walked the ancient plains of Western Australia. Join us for a one-hour dinosaur tour where you will learn about different species, marvel at gargantuan life-sized models and meet our Augmented Reality resident.
