Join us at WA Museum Boola Bardip to take part in our school holiday activities! There’s always something new to learn. We have a heap of fun filled activities, where you can express your creativity, learn and explore. We've got something for everyone!

Nyumbi means celebration dance in Nyoongar language. Experience a celebration of Nyoongar culture through song, dance and language, as local performers share their rich culture and history.

Discover WA's reptiles and meet some of our resident reptiles in Wildlife

Join us for a half-hour of story-telling, the ideal opportunity to introduce your child to the wonder of the written and spoken word amongst the colourful Museum galleries.

Access one of our sensory backpacks on your visit to the museum for a treasure trove of tools to both calm and stimulate a child's sensory system.

Join us for a half-hour storytime session and introduce your child to the wonder of the written and spoken word in our Origins Gallery. This session has a space theme with books chosen to ignite imaginations.

Join our Astronaut Academy to test your space mission skills! Navigate your way through some challenges, conduct repairs and explore your astronaut abilities as a family.

Sundays | 11.30am - 12.30pm

Dinosaurs of all sizes once walked the ancient plains of Western Australia. Join us for a one-hour dinosaur tour where you will learn about different species, marvel at gargantuan life-sized models and meet our Augmented Reality resident.

Drop and leave program

Investigate some of the nocturnal creatures that could be visiting your garden and local area, dissect an owl pellet and find out what you can do to help keep nocturnal wildlife safe, healthy and thriving in the neighbourhood.

Spend the day with deadly Nyoongar maaman and local legend, Derek Nannup to explore Aboriginal knowledge systems in this full day program.

Delve into the mysteries of the Moon, learning about its wonders and various phases. Then unleash your artistic talents by creating a personalized screen-printed masterpiece.
